How BC Rugby handles referee information
What we hold
Your name, email address, city and region; the games you are offered and whether you accept or decline; and the scores and post-game answers you submit.
Why
To appoint match officials to games, tell you about changes, and collect results.
Who can see it
BC Rugby staff and volunteers who appoint officials. Other referees cannot see your details or your appointments.
Where it is kept
On servers in Canada. Emails are sent through BC Rugby's Microsoft 365 account. Our service providers may process information outside Canada when delivering their services.
How long
While you are an active official with BC Rugby, and for 1 year afterwards.
